The biomIndx.txt file gives you a summary of the biomass of the groups that are active. It doesn’t include the biomass in the boundary boxes.

The biomass values are written out every tsumout days. This value is set in run.prm input file.

The units of this output file is tonnes and the values are a snapshot - so they are not averaged over time.
