GroupAgeType

This is an important definition within the Atlantis code. The following groupAgeType values are currently used:

AGE_STRUCTURED:

These are the vertebrate groups. The number of cohorts is now unlimited, in the past it was fixed at 10.

AGE_STRUCTURED_BIOMASS:

These are invertebrate groups where there are adult and juvenile pools. For invertebrates the max number of cohorts is 2.

BIOMASS:

These are the rest of the invertebrates where there is a single biomass pool.
