Installing R

Follow installation instructions at http://cran.r-project.org/.

Netcdf and R

You will probably want to use the netcdf library in R so you need to install that.

Follow the instructions to install netcdf.

R and Linux:

Follow the instructions on the link above for Linux - you will need to download the ncdf package from http://cran.r-project.org/.
